Arthritis is one of the most annoying things that people experience - especially when they reach a certain age - but it can also happen in all ages.
Arthritis can occur at more or less every part of the human body, but the hands are one of the most common places where it hits and it's really inconvenient since you really need your hands for so many things.
Arthritis forms due to the loss of cartilage and cushioning of the joints, which in the long run results in stiffness, pain, and inflammation in the joint area. But don't worry, here we have some exercises if you already have it and some things you can do to prevent getting it if you don't have it.
Here we go:
Make a Fist
This is your starting position.
Then you'll need to slowly form a fist.
Then you go back to the beginner's position.
Put your thumb on the inside like so.
Then the index finger.
Then the thumb goes in the following position.
This is your next exercise:
Straighten it as much as possible.
Then try activating just the knuckles.
Put it onto something firm.
And lift the thumb as much as you can.
Then lift the rest of the fingers without moving the thumb, starting with the index finger.
Home Remedies for Arthritis
1. Ice Pack
Ice packs are gonna lower your inflammations. Just make sure you place a thin towel or cloth between the skin and the ice pack because you'll want to protect your skin. Don't leave it on for more than 30 seconds at a time, 20 minutes all in all, 2-3 times a day.
Just make sure you're getting an anti-oxidant tea.
4. Epsom salts
Make yourself a nice epsom salt bath and enjoy it. It works wonders for arthritis.
Add a teaspoon of turmeric to some milk and drink the mix. You'll be amazed by the properties - there will be results within a week.
