You can find garlic in every possible cuisine on earth. It’s flavorful, it’s incredibly powerful at healing common ailments, and it helps you maintain your health. Although mostly you cook garlic, eating it raw can actually transform this popular vegetable into a highly potent medicine.Garlic helps lower high blood pressure and cholesterol and it can also prevent coronary heart diseases, as well as heart attacks. On top of that, garlic is also perfect for everyday health problems, some of which are the following: hayfever, cold, flu, traveler’s diarrhea, bug bites, or even fungal infections. Another important thing garlic does is boost the immune system and your body’s ability to get rid of toxins. Combined with ginger and onion, it can even help you detox from chemotherapy.

Usage

It’s better to eat garlic raw, because otherwise, the active ingredient called allicin which is found in garlic gets denaturalized by heat. But, do you wonder why we’re asking you to eat it on an empty stomach? Well, it’s simple: When your stomach is full, it can be harder for your body to process and absorb all the nutrients the food has to offer. And if you ate some junk food before, then your body is gonna get more out of that, then it would from the garlic. A great way to add raw garlic to your diet is to mix it with honey:
  1. Take 2-3 cloves of garlic and chop them into small pieces.
  2. Mix it with a spoonful of honey.
If you take this mix every day, for sure you will start feeling more energized and healthy within a week.
