This is a very simple recipe, but it’s going to become your favorite in no time. Here’s what you’ll need:
  • 5-7 bananas
  • 1-2 cups raw almonds or almond butter
How To Make It? Peel the bananas and break them up into smaller parts before you put them in the freezer, where you will leave them for a few hours, or best - overnight. Get your food processor or blender to blend your raw almonds until they reach a smooth texture, but keep in mind that this might take up to ten minutes depending on how powerful your food processor is. If you’re not patient enough, just use store-bought almond butter. Remove most of the nut butter from the food processor, but do leave some in there for the next step. Then you’re gonna add the frozen bananas to the food processor and pulse several times to blend the bananas with the almond butter until completely smooth. You can now add the rest of the almond butter to taste. If you want an extra tasty treat, just add some of the following ingredients:
  • Raisins or other dried fruit
  • Peppermint extract
  • Frozen cherries, vanilla extract and cacao nibs
  • Unsweetened coconut flakes
  • Strawberries
